A business submitted an entry but it hasn't appeared on the site

When a business user submits an entry through the Business Login portal, it does not go live immediately. Submissions go through an approval process managed by your CMS team before anything is published. If a submitted entry has not appeared on the site, the most likely reason is that it is waiting for review.

The submission is awaiting approval

All Business Login submissions arrive in a Pending Review status. They will not appear on the live site until a member of your team has reviewed and approved them. To review pending submissions, go to the Submissions section in the DestinationCore area of the CMS control panel. From here you can see all submissions with their current status and approve or reject them individually.

The submission may have been saved as a draft rather than submitted

Business users have the option to save their work as a draft without submitting it for review. If the business saved rather than submitted, the entry will be in a Draft status and will not have entered the approval queue. The business user can return to their draft in the portal and submit it when ready. You can also see draft entries in the Submissions view.

The submission may have been rejected

If a previous submission for the same entry was reviewed and rejected, it will not have been published. The business user will have received a notification about the rejection and can edit and resubmit from their portal. Check the Submissions view to confirm the status of the entry in question.

For entries with Auto Approve enabled

If the entry has Auto Approve switched on, submissions from that business user will publish immediately without requiring manual review. If such a submission is not appearing on the site, check that the entry was actually submitted rather than saved as a draft, and that the site cache has had time to clear.

Check the site cache

If a submission has been approved and published but the content is not yet showing on the site, the static cache may not have cleared yet. This should resolve automatically within a short time. If it persists, contact your site administrator to clear the cache manually.

If the submission does not appear in the Submissions view at all

If you cannot find the submission in the Submissions section of the CMS, the business user may not have completed the submission process, or the entry may have been submitted against a different business or site. Ask the business user to confirm they received a confirmation after submitting. If they did not, they should return to the portal and try again.
