A property sync failed- what should I check?
If properties or experiences are not updating after a sync is triggered, there are a few things to check before contacting DestinationCore.
Check the connection is active
Go to Availability Search > Connections and confirm the connection is still enabled for the relevant site. If it has been disabled since the last successful sync, no further syncs will run.
Trigger a fresh manual sync
Go to Utilities > Availability Search and trigger a new manual sync. If properties update correctly after a manual trigger, the issue may have been a one-off queue failure rather than a persistent problem.
Check the queue is running
Sync jobs are processed via the CMS queue. If the queue is stalled, sync jobs will remain pending indefinitely. Queue health is a system-level concern- contact DestinationCore if you suspect the queue is not processing.
Check whether the API token has expired
The connection will fail to authenticate if the API token is no longer valid. Symptoms include the connection appearing active but no data updating after a sync. Contact DestinationCore to issue a new token and update the connection if this is the case.
