Availability search is not appearing on the site
If the accommodation search functionality is not showing on the frontend at all, work through the following checks.
Check the connection is configured and enabled
Go to Availability Search > Connections and confirm that an active connection exists for the site in question. If no connection exists, the Availability Search Engine is not linked and no functionality will be available on the frontend.
Check the correct features are enabled
Open the connection and confirm that the Properties toggle and/or Experiences toggle is switched on. If both are disabled, the connection is active but no data types have been enabled to sync.
Check a sync has run
If the connection is new, the initial sync may not have completed yet. Go to Utilities > Availability Search and trigger a manual sync, then wait for the queue to process. The search will not display results if no properties or experiences have been synced.
Check the page content
The search functionality is added to pages via a content block in the page builder. If the search block has not been added to the relevant page, it will not appear regardless of how the connection is configured. Check the page entry and confirm the availability search block is present in the content. If you cannot add this block yourself, contact your site administrator.
If none of the above resolves it, contact DestinationCore to review the connection configuration and frontend setup.
