How do I create a campaign template?
Campaign templates are managed from the Templates section within Email Automation in the CMS control panel. Select New Template to begin.
Basic details
Name- an internal name for the template, visible only in the CMS. Use something descriptive, such as "Weekly Events Newsletter" or "Monthly Offers Digest".
Description- optional notes about the purpose of this template.
Active- controls whether the template will generate campaigns. An inactive template will not generate campaigns automatically, even if recurrence is configured.
Content
Sections- select which content types to include in emails generated from this template. Only sections enabled in your Email Automation configuration will appear as options here.
Subject Line- the email subject line that subscribers will see in their inbox.
Intro Text- an introductory paragraph that appears at the top of the email above the content sections.
Audience
Audience- select the Mailchimp audience (mailing list) this template should send to. Audiences available here are pulled from your connected Mailchimp account.
Segment- optionally target a specific segment within the selected audience. Leave blank to send to the full audience.
Recurrence
If you want campaigns to generate automatically on a schedule, enable the Recurring toggle and configure the recurrence settings. See the article on setting up recurring campaigns for full details.
