How do I see how many times an ad has been viewed or clicked?

AdWizard tracks views and clicks for every ad automatically. No additional setup is required- tracking begins as soon as an ad starts being displayed on the site.

Total views and clicks
The total lifetime views and clicks for each ad are shown on the ad's record in the CMS. Open an ad from the Ads section in AdWizard and look for the Total Views and Total Clicks fields. These figures represent cumulative counts since the ad was created.

What counts as a view
A view is recorded each time an ad is rendered on a page that a visitor loads. Each page load where the ad appears counts as one view.

What counts as a click
A click is recorded each time a visitor clicks on an ad and is taken to the destination URL. Click data is captured via the site's tracking script and reported back to the CMS.

Using view data to manage campaigns
If you have set a Max Views limit on an ad, the Total Views count tells you how close the ad is to reaching that cap. This can help you plan when to refresh creative or extend the campaign duration.
