How do I send a test email before publishing a campaign?
Before sending a campaign to your full audience, you can send a test version to a specific email address to check how it looks in a real inbox. This is the recommended approach before any significant send.
How to send a test
Open the campaign from the Campaigns section of Email Automation in the CMS. Look for the Send Test Email option. The test will be sent to the email address configured in your Email Automation settings under Test Email. If no test email address has been configured, contact your site administrator to add one.
What the test includes
The test email contains the same generated content and styling as the live campaign. It gives you an accurate preview of how the email will appear to subscribers, including the subject line, intro text, content sections, images, and button styles.
Checking across email clients
Different email clients render HTML emails differently. If consistent rendering across Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, and mobile clients is important, consider testing with a dedicated email preview tool in addition to sending a test to your own inbox.
