How do I set the fallback image for the accommodation search?
When properties are displayed in the accommodation search results, the image shown normally comes from the Availability Search Engine. If a property does not have an image associated with it, the CMS will display a fallback image in its place.
Setting the fallback image
The fallback image is managed in your site's Global Settings. Go to Globals > Availability Search in the control panel. You will find an Accommodation Search Fallback Image field- upload or select the image you want to use as the default placeholder.
Choosing an appropriate image
Choose a representative image for your destination- a landscape, a recognisable landmark, or a general accommodation scene. Avoid using branded graphics or promotional images that would look out of place alongside property photos in search results. If you are unsure of the correct dimensions for the image, contact your site administrator.
