I sent a campaign but recipients aren't receiving it
If a campaign has been sent but subscribers are reporting they have not received it, the issue is most likely within Mailchimp rather than the CMS. The CMS is responsible for generating the campaign and creating it in Mailchimp- delivery to subscribers is handled entirely by Mailchimp from that point onwards.
Check the campaign status in Mailchimp
Log in to your Mailchimp account and locate the campaign. Check its status- if it shows as Scheduled rather than Sent, the campaign has not yet been delivered. If it shows as Sent, Mailchimp has dispatched it and delivery is complete from their side.
Ask recipients to check their spam folder
Emails from new or infrequent senders can be filtered into spam or junk folders by email providers. Ask recipients to check there first, and if found, to mark the email as not spam to improve future deliverability.
Check the audience and segment settings
Confirm that the campaign was sent to the correct Mailchimp audience and that any segment applied is correctly configured and includes the subscribers you expect. A misconfigured segment can result in a campaign being sent to a much smaller group than intended, or to no recipients at all.
Check subscriber status in Mailchimp
Subscribers who have unsubscribed, been marked as cleaned, or are in a pending state in Mailchimp will not receive campaigns. Delivery issues affecting specific individuals are usually related to their subscription status in your audience list.
Contact Mailchimp support
For persistent delivery issues, Mailchimp's own support team have access to detailed delivery logs and can investigate why specific subscribers may not have received a campaign.
