My recurring campaign hasn't been generated

If a recurring campaign that was due to be generated has not appeared, work through the following checks.

Check the template is active and recurring
Open the campaign template and confirm that both the Active toggle and the Recurring toggle are switched on. If either is disabled, the template will not generate campaigns. Re-enable as needed and save.

Check the next generation date
The template shows when it is next due to generate a campaign. If this date is in the future, the campaign has not been missed- it simply has not been reached yet. The CMS checks for due campaigns once per day at 1:00am, so a campaign will only be generated after that check has run on or after the scheduled date.

Check the selected sections have live content
A campaign will not be generated if the sections selected in the template have no published entries to include. Ensure that the sections you have configured have live, enabled entries available. If all selected sections are empty, the generation will be skipped.

Check the Email Automation feature is enabled for your site
Email Automation must be enabled in the configuration for the site the template belongs to. If it has been disabled at the site level, no campaigns will be generated regardless of template settings. Contact your site administrator if you believe this may be the case.

If none of the above applies
The daily generation job may have encountered an error. Contact your site administrator, who can check the generation logs and manually trigger a campaign generation if needed.
