What is the content builder and how does it work?
The content builder is the flexible page layout tool used on most content entry types. Rather than a single large text field for a page's body content, the content builder lets you assemble a page from a set of discrete content blocks- each designed for a specific purpose.
How it works
When editing an entry that uses the content builder, you will see an area where you can add blocks. Clicking the add button presents you with a list of available block types. You choose the type you need, fill in its fields, and it is added to the stack. You can add as many blocks as you like, reorder them by dragging, and delete or duplicate individual blocks.
Common block types
Depending on the entry type and your user role, you may have access to blocks such as:
Rich text / editorial text
Image or image gallery
Call to action
Related entries or listings

Map
Why some users see fewer block types
The blocks available to you depend on your user role. Business admin users, for example, have access to a focused set of blocks appropriate for managing their own listing- some of the more complex blocks used by content managers are not shown to them. This is by design, ensuring the editing experience is appropriate to each user's context.
