Who can use the AccessIndex feature?
Different user roles interact with AccessIndex in different ways.
Business Admins
Business admins- the owners and managers of businesses listed on the site- can request an AccessIndex login link from the entry they manage. Once they have the link, they follow it to the AccessIndex platform and complete the accessibility survey for their business. No separate AccessIndex account is needed; the login link handles authentication.
Content Managers
Content managers can see the AccessIndex field on entries but cannot request a login link on behalf of a business. The request is restricted to business admins because the survey is completed by the business owner under their own credentials on the AccessIndex platform.
Site Administrators
Administrators with the manage-access-index permission have access to the AccessIndex settings in the control panel, where the webhook connection is configured. Day-to-day use of the feature does not require admin involvement once the integration is set up.
